With performances by Pam R Johnson Davis, Alein Amor, Phantom Power and Eye’z
The Award Ceremony was hosted by Dr. Letitia Wright of Wright Place TV.
Phantom Power won Best Rock Lyrics, Pam R Johnson Davis won 2 awards Eye’z won summer jam of ’23 while Sharon Manuel was honored for her years of teaching. She also accepted an award on Gregory Hickman Williams behalf. Other winners include Cleatus Yesk for best short film and Matt Thompson for Break out pop single.
Gail Decatur of Delta Zeta Delta Sorority who presented with Dr. Wright said ” My Music Block Awards
was truly a creative an inspiring event. Acknowledging the gifts and talents of local artists, will provides incredible inspiration to the art community. Events of this nature, must be celebrated by all.”
