Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia (MBFW) is one of the biggest fashion events in Russia. The total number of viewers and visitors of MBFW Russia live fashion shows is more than 10 million. MBFW focuses on sustainability, diversity and social responsibility. MBFW Russia gives talented designers the platform to express themselves globally.
On October 23, 2017, the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week podium was presented by FashionTime Designers with four modern collections of very well-known fashion brands: Fashion.Love.Story, An.Per, Beresta and Leya.me.
Fashion Week Russia, launched in 1999, provides an opportunity for talented modern designers and young design talent to showcase their work. A runway show for emerging designers is also presented, and supported by FashionTime.ru, the first Russian fashion, beauty, and lifestyle portal.
FashionTime Designers and FashionTime.ru are the official partners of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. Filmmaker Nikolay Velikanov was personally invited by Alexander Kulikov, the head of the FashionTime Designers project and CEO of FashionTime.ru, to capture the event and highlight each designer’s collection. Nikolay was able to apply his artistic and cinematic approach to capture the event.
Each season, FashionTime Designers project and FashionTime.ru choose four completely different style collections from foreign and domestic brands. Nikolay was also a special guest at one of Moscow’s fashionable and famous restaurants, Name, where he filmed the fashion event and designers’ collections of the modern brand O.N.I. and the presentation of a new fashion collection by Victoria Kuksina.
There is no doubt that whether it’s a Hollywood production or a fashion event, Nikolay Velikanov can apply his creativity and talent to every aspect of storytelling.
