What inspired you to write SELF THERAPY? Was there a pivotal moment in your life when you realized that self-therapy was the path to healing?
I think we are … and i am too afraid to accept that i need a psychologist or even a psychiatrist. But we still need to save ourselves so we try to “fix” our damaged minds and broken souls … alone
You describe self-therapy as a practice used for thousands of years. How does your approach connect with ancient practices, and in what ways does it evolve or modernize them?
I believe it depends from individual to individual.I am just promoting the idea of “hot water” … so nothing new … but i tell people to use it.I speak to them about my illusory “dramas” … but also how i’ve fixed all.
One of the key principles of self-therapy is honesty with oneself. Why do you think people often struggle with being honest about their inner thoughts and emotions, and how can they overcome this barrier?
In autosuggestion you say to yourself … “I am good … i am smart … i am powerful … “ etc etc.
In self therapy you tell to yourself … “I am an idiot.
I am a liar.
I am toxic for me and the others.
I am dominated by negativity.
… but i am going to fix all those problems … little by little.”
Honesty is extremely difficult … especially when we talk to ourselves.
Cause … yes.
We lie … a lot.
You mention that the process is non-ending, but that it’s worth the effort. What would you say to someone who feels overwhelmed by the idea of ongoing self-analysis and self-improvement?
Very important to do this process … daily.
Ideally in morning and night.
Alone.
Speak with the mind and the soul. It is a non ending process indeed … but the results could be amazing for our evolution.
In the book, you emphasize that the answers we seek will come naturally once we connect with ourselves. How can someone begin to recognize and trust these answers, especially if they’ve been disconnected from their inner voice for a long time?
Simple make those exercises daily.
Wait.
Don’t be in a hurry.
Trust the process.
And in time we’ll have more and more clearance … trusting that this connection with the inner self is real.
Being both the therapist and the patient can be challenging. How do you recommend balancing these roles in a way that encourages both self-compassion and critical self-examination?
We need to play.
See all as a game.
Do it alone.
Even speak loud.
Use different tonalities for both roles.
Allow ourselves to act … weirdly.
For readers who are new to the concept of self-therapy, what’s the first practical step they can take to begin this journey of self-healing and transformation?
There is no school you need to do for this.Once you understand the existence of such a therapy .All comes by itself.Anyone could do this.Sometimes as a must .Because of challenges from life and sometimes for hurrying the process of mental and spiritual evolution.
