Australian Actress Chelsea Ingram takes the NYC indie film world by storm

Chelsea Ingram was not worried about swapping the small town countryside of Australia to the big lights of New York at only 20, if anything she embraced the adventure. Now she is hitting it large and has taken the leading role in upcoming Feature Film “Drift Wood.”

“I have loved acting every since I was a child, it began as essence of escape for me, but now its just a way of life” she said.

After being accepted into the prestigious Lee Strasberg and Theatre Institute of New York and working along side of Americas newest talents Adria Arjona and Leila George, Chelsea is now skyrocketing as an award winning actress.

Immediately upon graduation Chelsea starred in leading roles for feature film ‘Tommy Battles the Silver Sea Dragon’ directed by Luke Shirock that premiered at the renowned SXSW Festival and Puck in Mathew Gasda’s “Midsummer night Dreaming” going viral on Vimeo. She has since booked leading roles in Tweed Dream Media Feature Film ‘Drift Wood’ and guest starred in CBS dramas ‘Bull’ alongside Michael Wetherby and ‘Tommy’ with Edie Falco.  She recently finished shooting Tales of NYC that is set to preview on Amazon directed again by Brendan Pike under Tweed Dreams Media.

She is signed with Melissa Young Management.

Chelsea was awarded for Best Actress in the Western Sydney Film Festival for the short film ‘Behold.‘  “We shot the entire film in one take, the amount of rehearsal that went into the production was incredible,  it was a brilliant experience as an actress.”

After the premier of Drift Wood Chelsea plans to throw her hat at

Directing – she is currently in pre production for her Australian short Film ‘Yolk’ shooting in Glass House Mountains Australia. “After all this time, I am thrilled to go back and work with Artists from my home town – Glasshouse has a beautiful, supportive community and I am so lucky to come from such a wonderful place, I can’t wait to produce art there again!”
